About Us

AlaskanTraveler.com is a family run business. We live in a small rural community and are privledged to earn a modest living while working from our small farm. Our company started out by designing web sites for travel related businesses. Our online travel directory started in 1996 as a method to promote our Alaskan travel client web sites and to promote the State we called home for over 15 years. Over time our directory has grown to include thousands of travel listings. Until recently, each submission was added to our site manually by a member of our staff. We've automated many things now but still review each new company personally to ensure it meets our criteria as a family oriented business.

We do charge for listings in our directory. This allows us to add extra features and to be honest, to supplement our family income. We still offer our listings at the same prices we did 12 years ago but with many, many more features. We appreciate the support provided by our loyal customers and will continue to provide an honest value for you.
